Member Bio

I have been face painting for over 35 years now, and still LOVE the joy it brings both the children I paint and myself too, in seeing their joy and their imagination coming to life. I joined FACE many years ago and still feel it is a very relevent association, a camaraderie of professional painters who are passionate about the high standards and safety that FACE stands for. I have been in many of the roles within the FACE committee over the years and am currently the area rep for the Central and Anglia area. I also teach face painting to individuals and small groups, either in my home in Hertfordshire, or other venues as the need requires. I offer Gestational ( pregnant tummy) painting for a unique momento of a very special time in ones life. I love other forms of art too, including sewing, crafting, sugar flower making, watercolour painting etc and along with many other members I also paint Converse shoes for children undergoing cancer treatments through a charity called Supershoes. I am very privileged to be doing something I love, and hope I still have many more years to come. What a fun job face painting is!
